Welcome to 2011!

The year is well under way and with 4 weeks of uni already past, BOHDS has already hosted several successful events.

The O-week stall saw the introduction of our new mascot, which was well-loved by everyone, including the staff. The BBQ was a great way for the first years to mingle with the other year levels studying dentistry and oral health.

The first years gathered to vote for their BOHDS representative, with Christina Kim taking the honours for dentistry. Renan Salih and Shinal Naicker became the first year oral health representatives.

And to round it all off, many people ‘got in the zone’ for go-karting and laser tag in a night of intense fun!

Not to mention a new website where you can find the latest updates. Stay tuned for many more events to come.

Who are we?

Bendigo Oral Health and Dentistry Society (BOHDS) is a student organised club established in February 2009 to represent the Dentistry and Oral Health students in Bendigo.

BOHDS serves the following purposes:

To represent and voice student concerns and ideas
To promoting oral health in the community
To liaise between the staff and students of the school
To encourage social interaction between students and staff

BOHDS is supported by and affiliated with the Bendigo Student Association (BSA) who acts as an overseeing administrative body. The BSA ensures all financial expenditure is accounted for, and provides the legal framework that allows BOHDS to act as a legal entity.
